PYGG Community Involvement
At PYGG, we recognize the importance of contributing to the communities in which we operate, while maintaining a disciplined and strategic approach aligned with our values and business objectives.
As a Curaçao-based firm with an international outlook, we are mindful of the social disparities within our local community and aim to contribute in a focused and meaningful way.
This policy outlines how PYGG approaches:
- Sponsorships – initiatives with a clear branding, networking, or business development objective
- Donations – contributions primarily aimed at social impact without direct commercial return
PYGG supports a limited number of sponsorships that align with its brand and strategic positioning.
Sponsorships are considered where they:
- Provide visible brand exposure among relevant audiences
- Offer access to networks aligned with our client base or strategic interests
- Reinforce PYGG’s positioning in areas such as wealth, discipline, performance, and excellence
- Reflect our commitment to healthy lifestyles and personal development, including sports initiatives
Examples include selected sporting
events, professional platforms, and initiatives with a clear connection to
PYGG’s market.
PYGG also allocates resources to donations that contribute to the broader community, with a focus on:
- Youth development, particularly where access to opportunities is limited
- Education and personal growth
- Sports participation, especially for talented individuals facing financial constraints
- Initiatives that help bridge social inequality in Curaçao
These contributions are made selectively and are not intended to create ongoing financial dependency.
All requests are assessed based on:
- Alignment with PYGG’s values and focus areas
- Credibility and transparency of the requesting party
- Potential impact (social and/or strategic)
- Professionalism and feasibility of the proposal
PYGG does not support:
- Requests of a purely personal nature (unless aligned with community or talent development)
- Politically affiliated initiatives
- Activities that may create reputational or regulatory risk
PYGG maintains an annual budget for sponsorships and donations, allocated in a balanced manner between strategic visibility and community impact.
Given the number of requests received, PYGG is not able to support all initiatives and reserves the right to decline requests at its discretion.
To ensure integrity and independence:
- Requests involving clients, business partners, or personal relationships are subject to additional scrutiny
- Decisions are made collectively where appropriate
- Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed internally
To be considered, applications should include:
- A clear description of the initiative
- Objectives and expected outcomes
- Budget and requested contribution
- Any visibility or engagement opportunities (if applicable)
Due to the volume of requests, only
selected applications will receive a response. If you have not heard from us
within four weeks, your application has not been selected.
